ABOUT ELI BLACK
Eli Black, a 12-year-old first-generation driver known as The California Kid, has demonstrated his racing skills in ten states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, and Pennsylvania.
Beginning his journey in Quarter Midgets within the NASCAR Youth Series, Eli has earned accolades as a championship titleholder and consistent podium finisher. His aspirations to compete full-time in NASCAR are fueled by admiration for his idol, Ryan Preece, which deepens his commitment to the competitive realm of auto racing.
As Eli continues to race in Quarter Midgets on both paved and dirt tracks, his transition to 600 Micro Sprint cars has demonstrated his capability to manage higher horsepower vehicles on challenging terrains. Advancing to Jr. Late Models, which feature full-size stock cars with regulated horsepower, further illustrates his determination and potential to achieve his NASCAR ambitions.

On March 22, 2025 Eli was able to clinch his first Jr. Late Model race at Madera Speedway, after setting fast time had him starting on the Pole and kicking off the season by winning the season opener.
